AFTERMATH

I gotta face this blaring aftermath
which turns my life to a gutless destiny
I lose my nerve it haunts me day to day
it won't let me run away

The aftermath abruptly blocks my path
it brings me down to a place where I've never been
I try to scream I wish it's just a dream
I pray to Him oh please let me be free

How I despise the Angels from below
they stray my way till my soul turns low
but it's me who solely drag them near
and merely let their whispers pierce my ears

It's hard to find the reverend sides of mine
I've thrown them all to the evil sea
this aftermath is the omen of my sins
forgive me Lord for a lost soul I've been
